I can't believe I've already been home for over a month, this summer is going so quickly (and I'm definitely not complaining)! Here's a little update on what I've been up to for the last month or so...
After only a week at home, it felt so strange not being around all of our friends 24/7, so my friend Clare decided to come up and visit for a weekend! At school, you get used to having your friends around all the time..so making plans to get together with everyone over the summer was essential :)
During that weekend, Clare and I went to the beach, hung out with a few of my friends from home, and went to see fireworks in Lake George village!

A few weekends later, it was time for a very exciting weekend...the Dave Matthews concert with my friends Hillary, Mary, and Allie! They all came to my house for the concert on Friday night, which was SO much fun...great friends, my favorite band..can't get any better than that!

The next day, we made a short 2-hour road trip up to Plattsburgh to Hillary's house so we could see our friend Emily who couldn't make it down for the concert. She took the ferry across Lake Champlain from Vermont to meet up with us! We went out to Panera for dinner, walked along the lake, and then got amazing smoothies at a local smoothie place...yum!
Finally, and most recently, Hillary and I decided that it would be a fun idea to road trip down to Massachusetts for a few days to Mary's house! (We obviously really like road trips!) The 3 1/2 hour drive brought us to central Mass where we spent Monday-Wednesday of last week. We got to meet Mary's friends from home, eat delicious food that her mom made, and even go to Boston for a day...so much fun! :)

So, what's the next adventure? In a couple weeks, I'll be in Ireland with my best friend Clare and her family for almost two whole weeks...SO excited!! After that...who knows, we'll just have to wait and see :)
